Trees around Hudson Square

On Wednesday, March 24, the Connection assisted Trees New York in hosting an event for neighborhood property owners to learn about street tree care and maintenance.  The group took a stroll around Hudson Square to see examples of challenges associated with tree care, and ways of addressing those challenges.   Everyone asked lots of questions, and came away knowing just a little bit more about how we can all help to improve and maintain our neighborhood’s streetscape!

This is just one small step for the Connection and Trees New York in the gradual process of sprucing up the neighborhood’s streets.  We will continue planting trees in the months and years to come, with the goal of beautifying and enlivening the neighborhood we live and work in
