Halloween and the Hudson Square community fit each other like a glove. Each year many local companies hold parties and events which encourage our media, communications, design and other professionals to take advantage of Halloween as an opportunity to express their imagination and originality. On the streets, Hudson Square becomes Hudson Scare every October, with spooky specials, costume contents and eerie displays.
This year we continue to embrace Halloween with events throughout the neighborhood.

Forevermore, Halloween installationexpand +
This year we hired artists, Vicky Shum + Zofi Lipton, to create a spooky art installation entitled Forevermore in our Hudson Square Standard trees that will decorate the streets and encourage people to explore the neighborhood. Inspired by our trees, they have created a murder of crows out of recycled plastic bags for 72 trees throughout Hudson Square’s streets, Spring Street Park and Freeman Plaza East and West. This festive and thoughtful installation reflects the environmentally conscious and passionate values of our community. This Hudson Scare we invite pedestrians to enjoy the art and think of its message.
