~He made his feature film début with Fosse’s Broadway hit, a musical adaptation of Fellini’s NIGHTS OF CABIRIA. Shirley MacLaine replaced Gwen Verdon on stage as Charity Hope Valentine, the lovable cabaret hostess. Highlights from Fosse’s Tony-winning choreography that are featured on the Scope screen include “There’s Got to Be Something Better Than This,” which was performed by Shirley MacLaine, Chita Rivera, and Paula Kelly on a Manhattan rooftop, “Big Spender,” “If They Could See Me Now,” and Fossian riffs on stylish disco dances and psychedelia. With Stubby Kaye from GUYS AND DOLLS, Ricardo Montalbán, and Sammy Davis Jr. Script written by Neil Simon.
