~American director Nathaniel Kahn is from America. His father’s biography, MY builder (2003), about the builder Louis Kahn, received two Independent Spirit Award nominations and a Directors Guild of America Award. The guitarist Leon Fleisher was the subject of his 2006 film TWO HANDS, which received Emmy and Academy Award nominations. The Price of Everything, a 2018 documentary by Kahn about how art and commerce interact, had its world debut at Sundance and went on to air on HBO and receive an Emmy nomination. Paul Goldberger, referred to as “the leading figure in architecture criticism” by The Huffington Post, is currently a contributing editor at Vanity Fair. Building Art: The Life and Work of Frank Gehry, written by him, was released by Alfred A. Knopf in late 2015. He worked as The New Yorker’s architecture critic from 1997 to 2011, during which time he also contributed the renowned “Sky Line” piece to the publication.
