Part fabric-driven ritual reminiscent of Basil Twist’s “Symphonie Fantastique,” part a journey into the guts of the theater space, Psychic Self Defense is an experience of absorption, drawing the viewer in through the perpetual unveiling of curtains. Psychic Self Defense is an object-focused theater piece where we, audience and performers, train to defend ourselves against the force of the corporations that seek to leech our psychic energy.
