HERE will present five works in our theater, just outside our venue on Dominick Street, and virtually at here.org.
Each piece, some of which have been in development for years, is an exploration of issues that seem all the more timely in light of this past year — longing and isolation; an apocalyptic earth devoid of people; the mysticism of theater (which we’ve longed for these many months!); our communal relationship to each other and to the food of the earth; and the history of Cannabis in society and its use in the criminalization of communities of color.
Each work will be 20-40 minutes in length, or experiential and on-demand. In addition, talk-backs will be scheduled with the artists throughout the week. Visit the website for more information.
