NEW RESTORATION

Introduced by Sam Staggs

(1952) 1890, and in the eponymous night club, José Ferrer’s Toulouse-Lautrec immortalizes Zsa Zsa Gabor (as real-life Jane Avril) in lithographs and paintings, but searches all the rest of his life for a love of his own. Seven Oscar nominations, including Picture, Director and Actor, but none for Oswald Morris’ dazzling color photography, now restored. DCPApprox. 119 min.
