If you’ve visited Pine & Polk or PS, you know we really like our cheese. Soft, hard, goat, sheep, cow—you name it, we’re into it. It only felt appropriate to team up with Marissa Mullen, the very lovely human, best-selling author, and founder behind That Cheese Plate and the Cheese By Numbers Method. She’s built a global community for cheese plate inspiration and creative food styling, and we’re so excited for PS to host That Cheese Class – Build Your Own Cheeseboard Workshop.
Using her step-by-step approach to styling a unique cheese and charcuterie spread, attendees will have their own personal board to customize, picking from an array of local and artisanal cheeses, meats and produce. Marissa will also share some food photography tips, and pair two different wine varieties with your board. We’re teaming up with some of our favorite Pine & Polk brands to make sure your plate and bellies are full. Look out for items from Cult Crackers, Eli Zabar’s, The Jam Stand, Ziba, and more.
In this two-hour class, each guest will leave with their own curated cheeseboard and a That Cheese Plate tote bag full of goodies. In addition to two glasses of complimentary wine, PS cocktails will be available to purchase.
The series kicks off on Saturday, September 17th. Additional classes on October 29th and
November 19th. All classes from 1pm-3pm.
