Gil Scott-Heron, an esteemed musician who received a Grammy Lifetime Achievement Award, had a long-lasting friendship with S.O.B.’s and first performed on their stage in 1991. In honor of his legacy, we will screen the films “Black Wax” (1983) and “The Revolution Will Not Be Televised” (2003) and feature a night of music dedicated to him.
