Luis Gomez (Luisito) is a Dominican-American musician, arranger, record producer and bandleader. He began his training as a pianist at age five and grew up listening to Fania All Stars, Frankie Ruiz, Tito Rojas, Ramon Orlando, the Temptations and Earth Wind and Fire. In 2003, he was the first recipient of the Celia Cruz Foundation Scholarship. By age 15, Luisito started playing in New York City NightClubs such as Copacabana and Latin Quarters with salsa artists including Ismael Miranda and Andy Montanez.
