We are celebrating the paperback launch of Death, Sex & Money host Anna Sale’s book Let’s Talk About Hard Things with a karaoke singalong book party! You heard that right. The soundtrack will be our favorite songs about big feelings in hard times.
Anna’s book is about how to have conversations that don’t flinch from the uncomfortable or unresolved, and it’s also about why to do that – because these conversations fortify community and reduce isolation. What else creates community and reduces isolation? KARAOKE SINGALONGS. Especially when we sing together songs about heartbreak, loss, change, and getting through.
Come out to enjoy being together for one of Anna’s first in-person book events, along with some very special guests including Jeff Hiller of HBO’s “Somebody Somewhere” and humorist and co-host of the podcast Another Round with Heben and Tracy, Tracy Clayton. Lyrics will be projected to everyone in the crowd, so no need to get on stage to enjoy the whole experience – though if you’re game to perform, we want to know. Add your karaoke request here! Your ticket includes one free drink and some light snacks. Books will be available for sale and Anna will be happy to sign your copy!
