Join Artist in Residence Toshi Reagon as she hosts an intergenerational Freedom Song Rehearsal. The event aims to explore the power of music in the context of Parable the Opera’s themes. The 15 curated songs from Reagon’s opera are inspired by Octavia E. Butler’s Parable of the Sower, and they explore resilience, hope, and the unyielding human spirit. The event is a transformative journey where music catalyzes personal growth, social awareness, and the birth of a new generation of freedom.
