Theo Mighty, born Theodore R. White Jr., is a 21st century figurative painter focused on the Black experience in America. With a love for blending colors and bringing light out of darkness, Theo uses Black American history as well as current events to present lessons intended to be timeless. Originally from Queens, New York, Theo believes we have much to learn from our past in order to help us in the present and much to observe from the present in order to guide our future. Standing on the foundations of love, forgiveness and healing to create images of hope, Theo aspires to use his God given gift of creation to spread the greatest gift of God, the Gospel.
