The Reconnect Series: Music – Classique

October 7, 2021 - 12:30-2pm

Classique became enamored with performance art from the tender age of 3, watching “Showtime at the Apollo” and “Star Search”, unknowingly allowing her heart to be molded with the artistry of music. Her foundation as a musician began at the age of 8 – playing the viola. A few years later, she expanded her knowledge on a similar instrument, the violin – taking her musical talents to a higher level. Furthermore, the acknowledgement of her gift did not go unnoticed – she went on to become a 3x winner of the nationally syndicated “Showtime at the Apollo”.

As a firm believer of supporting the arts, Classique became a member of the band A.D.D (Always Determined and Dedicated), traveling in the Tri-State area and performing among remarkable artists in the industry. Moreover, Adebisi “Classique” Labinjo, demonstrates the importance of music education by mentoring the youth through focus and discipline. She inspires others and humbly acknowledges her dreams coming to fruition with the support of fellow musicians, family and friends. Classique continues to reach for the stars and recognizes that the sky is not the limit but a milestone for achieving greatness.
