Music transcends all barriers and is the great healer within us all. And these two Caribbean-American gentlemen, hailing from Brooklyn, New York, are the embodiment of all things music & culture.
Ishmael Levi, with his booming, tragic voice, is often compared to the late, great Bob Marley. Spuddy Roots with his impressive percussive acrobatics is in a class of his own.
A dynamic duo of strong vocals, guitar & percussion. They met in high school and reconnected on an MTA platform about a decade ago. Their unique style of play intrigues through the fusion of Reggae, Roots Soul, Blues and then some… leaving something for everyone to savor.
