March 27, 2023
The Hudson Square BID joined in on the fun this month with our rendition of Parched Madness, a friendly bracket competition to highlight some of our favorite cocktails in the neighborhood from local restaurants.
From March 14-24, our Instagram followers voted daily on their favorite drink and one cocktail rose to the top. Here is our complete list of participants and winners. Be sure to try out these delicious drinks when you’re in the neighborhood.
1st Place: Whiskey Sour by Nonna Beppa

Our first-place cocktail is a true classic with bourbon whiskey, lemon juice, simple syrup, and egg whites, topped with a dried orange wheel. The Whiskey Sour is perfect for any season! Nonna Beppa is an Italian restaurant serving authentic Emilia Romagna cuisine and homemade pasta daily.
Located at 290 Hudson Street
2nd Place: Minus Three by Pine & Polk

Our second-place cocktail brings a savory flare with Mezcal, jalapeño, avocado, lemongrass, and street corn seasoning. The Minus Three is a one-of-a-kind drink. Pine & Polk is a woman-owned provisions shop with a speakeasy bar called P.S. behind their iconic door of chocolates.
