This August, Oonee opened a new secure bicycle parking pod near the Holland Tunnel in partnership with the Hudson Square BID and the Port Authority of NY & NJ. Supporters of the project gathered together to commemorate the event and welcome a new community mural designed by the Oonee graphic design team. The free-standing pod can store up to 20 bikes, at no cost to the user, on a first-come, first-served basis. The pod will provide local residents, commuters, and delivery workers a safe spot to store bicycles as part of their last-mile commute, delivery work, or recreational use. The BID is excited about this new partnership and revitalizing a busy pedestrian plaza.
