100% of congestion pricing revenue is set to be invested in the MTA’s capital program to pay for transit improvement projects across the region. These projects focus on improving station accessibility through the installation of elevators and ramps, upgrading the MTA bus fleet to zero-emission buses and electrifying bus depots, reducing service disruptions and delays, and protecting against outages and extreme weather.
The maps identify the projects within the MTA’s capital program that are dependent on congestion pricing revenue. They also show projects completed to date, illustrating the wide benefits of the MTA Capital Program. Above all, these maps show how public transit riders in every borough will be significantly impacted if congestion pricing is delayed or stopped.
