Halloween Parade Street Closures – Thursday, October 31st
The Halloween Parade starts right here in Hudson Square! While the parade doesn’t officially start till after 6pm, many of our streets will be affected much earlier in the day. See below for Street closures, subway access and a map.
Street Closures
10am Dominick Street between Varick + Little 6th Avenue closes
Little 6th Avenue between Spring + Broome Streets closes
Parking lanes on Spring Street between Varick + 6th Avenue unavailable for public use
12:30 M21 Crosstown bus on Spring Street is re-routed off Spring Street
1pm East side of Varick (Parking lane) between Spring + Dominick Streets unavailable for public use
(reserved for hotel guests/car services)
Broome Street between Varick + Little 6th Avenue closes
Spring Street between Varick + 6th Avenue closes
1:30pm Traffic allowed to turn left from Varick onto Broome (against traffic/adjacent to construction)
5:45pm 6th avenue closed to all vehicles beginning at Canal Street running north
No vehicles allowed to cross 6th avenue E/W from Canal Street to 16th Street
No pedestrian crossing 6th avenue E/W Canal to Houston EXCEPT at Charlton Street
C/E Subway access after 5pm
We recommend avoiding the C/E Spring Street station after 4pm if possible
Downtown/ Spring Street station
- Spring Street – ENTRY ONLY
- Vandam Street – EXIT ONLY
Uptown/ Spring Street Station at Spring Street has been designated as – EXIT ONLY
- Entry on the DOWNTOWN side (Spring Street – use underpass to access uptown service)
Or use the Canal Street station to access both uptown and downtown trains
6pm Pedestrians will be directed to the Canal Street station
